Since the invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, the Dakh Daughters have lived in exile in France where they keep alive, through the power of music, the fire of their country. Central figures of the Terabak cabaret in Kyiv, they deliver here a rock and poetic concert, liberating, a real cry for peace!
Their concert takes up the codes of their punk burlesque cabarets: songs composed on committed texts, a strong influence of Slavic folk music as well as rock and explosive live orchestration.
Vocals, cello, accordion, guitar, double bass or percussion, the group does everything. On stage, they engage in an act of resistance in the form of a great musical poem which testifies to the violence of the current situation and the immense hope of the Ukrainian people.
A powerful concert of women with powerful voices to show today's world as it exists through their eyes.
