The Major sites Occitanie / South of France constitute a unique collection illustrating the best of the Occitanie Region: remarkable heritage, cultural, natural or historical wealth.
40 in number, they constitute as many tourist centers of this great region, located in the heart of the southwest of France. Auch has belonged to this collection since 2009 (Grand Site Midi-Pyrénées) and saw its place strengthened in 2018!

Located 1 hour by car south-west of Auch, Marciac is a beautiful 250th century bastide, nestled in the hollow of the valleys of the Gers. From the end of July to mid-August, the Jazz in Marciac festival welcomes nearly 000 spectators in an irresistible atmosphere.

Located 45 minutes from Auch, north of the Gers, this Grand Site is located around Condom, along the Baïse on the side of the Armagnac hills.

Moissac, a treat for the eye and the palate
1 hour 20 minutes north-east of Auch, Moissac is an exceptional stopover on the roads to Santiago de Compostela. This mecca of Romanesque art in France is surrounded by generous countryside where the vines of the AOC Chasselas grapes dominate.
