FORMER CONVENT OF CORDELIERS

The former Cordeliers convent, currently a municipal hall, was founded in 1259 by the Franciscans outside the walls of the medieval city. It has a remarkable internal staircase.

The old cloister, part of which is in the private domain, is visible from Place Jean David.

The old Cordeliers church, the largest in the city until the Revolution after the cathedral, became a bank, then a nightclub and a restaurant.

Visits offered as part of Let yourself be told the Grand Auch.
