The Gers natural heritage

With nearly 10 data collected by more than a hundred observers, the CPIE Pays Gersois is pleased to present to you his commented Atlas of the Dragonflies of the Gers.

Initiated on a voluntary basis in 2009, then funded from 2012, this inventory has made it possible to list a fifty contemporary species, to know their distribution and their habitats in the department, to disseminate knowledge of odonata and to raise public awareness.

In Auch, the former quarry of Saint-Cricq, the banks of the Gers or the Auch wood are particularly favorable areas for the observation of dragonflies.
