World Heritage

In 1998, " The Ways of Saint-Jacques de Compostelle in France Have been inscribed on the World Heritage List of Humanity by UNESCO. To make this inscription tangible, notable monuments considered to be the major sites of the Way of Arles were selected by UNESCO.

In Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur:

The Roman and Romanesque monuments of Arles were inscribed in 1981, and in 1998, UNESCO re-inscribed the city as a major stopover on a route to Compostela.
