While passing through Puycasquier, you will not miss the imposing market hall of the village. Built in brick in the XNUMXth century and then reworked in the XNUMXth century, it has a very beautiful oak frame decorated with elegant corbels that characterizes it as a new town in the Middle Ages.
It has been listed as a historical monument since 1973.
The bell tower is 27 meters high and it is square in plan at the base and topped by an octagonal two-storey tower in brick and stone (which makes it resemble the Toulouse bell tower). It is an old watchtower where we can guess a loophole.
The "Brèche des Anglais": it overlooks the rampart walk and offers a magnificent panorama over the Auroue valley (a small stream which practically begins in the town and flows directly into the Garonne near Agen).
