BOTANICAL TRAIL - SAINT-CRICQ QUARRY

Discover the Smart'Flore trail at the Carrière de Saint-Cricq.

Located in the town of Auch, this former limestone quarry, classified as a Sensitive Natural Area, offers you an original walk through the diversity of its flora.
From old oaks to cattails, including plants with a Mediterranean affinity, this trail highlights around twenty species. Via the Smart'Flore application and thanks to explanatory panels, you will find a succinct description of the species and of its users, illustrations but also anecdotes. This information will allow you to look at them from a different perspective and will make you want to know their neighbors.
This site also shelters an educational trail on the diversity of its natural environments and its fauna, a good complement of information.
Dry lawns, ponds, forests, bare soil, but also snakes, butterflies, birds ... come and get to know them too!

What you must remember :
- 10 minutes from Auch,
- easy walk
- site with irregular relief, difficult to pass by people with reduced mobility,
- presence of green and orange signs on posts and a map at the entrance to guide you.
