TROIS HAMEAUX PATH

The circuit imprints the old railway platform used until 1939. At the Coulom fountain, observe some crayfish in the stream before going up to the old Castéra.

1- Walk along the gate of the "Lannelongue" park in a southerly direction, 150m later, at the crossroads, turn right and follow the GRP "coeur de gascogne" markings, yellow and red markings.

2-Turn left on an old railway line to follow for 1 km to the gatehouse.

3-Cross the D 150 and engage opposite to join the GRP 250 m further on, which you take on the right to the old “Doat” mill.

4-Cross the bridge over "l'Auloue" immediately, then turn right and walk along the river to a pumping station.

5- Cut the D 930 and end at the “Coulom” fountain, go up towards the hamlet of the old “Castéra” by a very narrow slope and reach the church, go around the buildings, at the level of a votive cross and turn left on a tarmac road to “la Bourdette”.

6-Turn left then immediately right and follow the markings to the hamlet "Peyrouau", cross it and reach the D 303.

7-Turn left on the departmental road, 250 m later, go up to the right towards the hamlet of "Mounouat", go down to arrive at the end of 800 m opposite the cemetery.

In the heart of Vieux Castéra, walk a few meters towards the Ferme de Bidache to observe the real black Gascon pigs in the meadows and visit the farm.
