Crastes is a small town perched on a hill, located between Auch and Mauvezin. In good weather, it offers remarkable views of the Pyrenees mountain range.
Crastes and its hamlets, Mons and Saint-Martin-de-Binagre make the town a village with three churches. The village of Crastes is built on a very high point, formerly fortified and surrounded by ditches. The church itself is built on a tumulus which once housed a castle.
Crastes, whose highest point is 272m, offers, when the weather is clear, a magnificent view of the Pyrenees.
