The Departmental Archives of Gers are a cultural and administrative institution more than two centuries old. They now keep more than 17 km of documents.

In addition to the reading room (accessible to all after registration and depending on the days and hours of opening) which allows you to consult old documents, the Departmental Archives of Gers offer a cultural and heritage program each year. The objective is to highlight the funds preserved and to shed light on the history of the department.

Exhibitions and conferences are organized regularly (to be found in our “exhibitions” section).

Throughout the year, a food truck is on site on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays between 11:30 a.m. and 14:30 p.m.
