THEATER: THE POSTMAN

A comedy written and directed by Etienne FRADAY.

On January 22, 1946, General de Gaulle announced his resignation from the provisional government. In the house of a small village in Dordogne, during a stormy evening, two young women, Marie-Clothilde and Lucienne, are nervously awaiting the arrival of Father Christian, the village priest.
When he arrives at Marie-Clothilde's house, he discovers the mess he is getting into. In fact, the two women confess to him that they accidentally killed the canton's postman.
Taken by the Christian faith, the priest finds himself complicit in this murder. The three companions then decide to wait out the storm in order to hide the body in the woods.
The story could end there... However, Marie-Clothilde's sister, Hélène, comes from Paris to her native village with a surprise, her companion Georges who is a Police inspector. The five characters find themselves trapped by the storm, in this small country house, with a corpse to hide. It's the start of a crazy day, full of tensions, revelations and twists and turns that lies ahead, because the madness of the situation will bring up old war memories that some would like to forget.
