The Museum of the Resistance and Deportation of Gers opens its doors in Auch! Take advantage of this new cultural equipment to discover the reality of the Second World War and the links between local and national history. Founded in 1954 by Louis Villanova, Marcel Daguzan and Louis Leroy, the museum brings together objects that belonged to former resistance fighters. A space of memory, it perpetuates the memory of the Resistance fight in the Gers department from the Second World War to the Liberation.
