PHOTO EXHIBITION: COP, PATCH, PLOT, MIRROR WATER OF THE WORLD

Water is a fascinating element. Something we love and hate. An element that we flee and that we pursue. Its duality is undeniable. We desire it or we abhor it.

Program

Some regret the rainy days, others pray to heaven to give them the water that is lacking for their land. Some jump with both feet into the puddles, others avoid them so as not to wet their shoes.

I see water as a mirror, the mirror of the world around me. I see the reflection of it in the puddles, in the lakes, in the bodies of water, in the drops, I also see the symbolic reflection of it in the elements that the water nourishes. Without water, the world is nothing; without water, no vegetation, no snow, no lake, no river; without water there is simply no life.

Beyond this ecological aspect, water is also a surprising artistic terrain for me. If sometimes it offers disturbing shots, it allows us to see behind the scenes, to see the world differently… It draws another reality. It has an unmistakable poetic dimension and an ever-amazing aestheticism.
This exhibition is a dive into this world of water. Each photo is presented to you: you will learn during your visit what it represents for me and under what conditions it was taken.

It is also an invitation to reflect on the essential nature of water when climate change regularly disrupts its cycle...
