Located on the outskirts of the fortified city of Larressingle, go back in time and rediscover the Middle Ages and its war machines at the Medieval Siege Camp.
Passionate about his profession and this period of history, Gauthier will welcome you in period dress to present the different machines that make up the evolving fleet.
New: the weapons room with the sixteen knights in armor and chainmail, a presentation of models of siege engines, the stone-cutting workshop, the forge and anvil workshop.
During the visit, children and adults will be able to: handle a catapult, a rocky place, odds and ends, a trebuchet, a ballista! Dress in a knight or princess costume. Try on chainmail, tunic and helm. Learn how to attack or defend a castle. Actuate the ram. Practice archery skills. Rotate the crane or squirrel cage. Making the royal denarius to pay the tithe. If it is counterfeit money, you are pilloried. Medieval weapons, crossbows, cannons and guns, harnesses and halberds will be presented to you.
