Montégut is a pretty medieval castelnau perched on a rocky promontory. It culminates at 243 metres of altitude at "Tour des Fées", where an old mill stands. On one end of the village is the hamlet of Roquetaillade. The castle, a private monument closed to the public, overlooks the village.
