The art center of the Château de Lavardens is hosting a major exhibition that will retrace the journey of the illustrious D'Artagnan, originally from Lupiac, a small village in Gers.
A hero of literature and cinema for some, a historical figure for others, D'Artagnan nonetheless remains an emblematic character of French culture.
This major exhibition will bring together, among other things, archives from the Historical Service of Defense, cinema (Jérôme Seydoux Foundation – Pathé) and treasures from popular culture with tributes and comic strips (loans from Patrick de Jacquelot).
